Happy New Year!  It was nice to see the students well rested and ready to go.  This morning we began working on a larger writing assignment.  Students will be working towards writing 4 paragraphs about their winter break.  Today we began working on identifying 3 things they did over their breaks.  Students also enjoyed our Star of the Weeks poster presentation.
In Math, students made corrections in their books, handed in 3 addition questions and we did our Math Monday.  Today's Math Monday was "Headbands" addition and they loved it.  Instructions for you have been sent home with your child.  In Science today we spoke about 4 magnetic metals. Students also have gym with M. Trevor. 
Don't forget Room 8 will visit the library on Wednesday and to send in your child's indoor shoes if you've not already done so.
